I'm Ceci, an interaction designer at IDEO currently based in the Bay Area. Bringing a decade of experience in the music industry as an artist, producer, and manager, I thrive on navigating uncharted territories and paving new paths. Rooted in my creative background is my ability to generate innovative ideas fueled by boundless curiosity, a passion for collaborative teamwork, and a self-driven determination to explore the frontiers of emerging technology, with a specific emphasis on responsible AI through human-centered design.
Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege to collaborate with a diverse range of clients, from major retailers and tech giants to smaller start-ups in the web3, genAI, and music space. My expertise lies in translating insights from research into high-fidelity designs. By designing what is most needed for our clients and their users through product design, strategic frameworks, creating compelling user narratives, and digital prototypes early and often, I strive to create futuristic work through a human-centered lens that is imaginative and tangible.
Before joining IDEO, I played a key role at Infinitone Music, contributing to the redesign of their microtonal music plugin by delivering high-fidelity designs. At Artflow.AI, a generative text-to-video platform, I defined value propositions and developed features. I spearheaded the complete redesign and implementation of an omnichannel retail widget for TOTE, from initial research to the final delivery.
In my previous life, I was a music producer and artist and I've been lucky enough to have lived in Houston, NYC, Buenos Aires, Seattle, and Los Angeles. I've traveled the globe touring in front of thousands of people every night and I've made hundreds of songs with artists from all around the world.
